Sports Career Awareness Day

The purpose of the Sports Career Awareness day is to use students interest in sports as a window to the many career and business opportunities in the robust multibillion dollar sports and entertainment industry.  Also to use lessons from sports to highlight what it takes to be successful in other aspects of life.

 

Youth will be exposed to opportunities such as sports agency, scouting, team ownership/operations, coaching, sports medicine, fitness training, business administration, entrepreneurship, journalism, film/video, marketing, education, social entrepreneurship and more.

This Careers In Sports panel testimonials from the personal experience of professionals who have achieved success in the sports industry.  They will share their academic and career journey including important classes and experiences, college and professional development.
